The men who are guides, cooks and porters at the same time. The men who put on their back and head the kilos you can't carry, who pass you by with a smile and set up the camp before you arrive. Who give you advice an An ode to tents and huts 🛖 

Keeping safe from the cold, the rain, the wind and the dust, these tiny shelters are the guardians of our sleep and our wellbeing in the mountains. 
Our home was a tent for a week when ascending the Kili, and we both gre Kilimanjaro views through the lens 🗻

The Machame route took us through dry landscapes and dramatic views of the remaining snow. 
It's hard to tell how gigantic this mountain is through photos only, and even if you walk through the distance and alti The first post of the Kilimanjaro series! 🌿

I climbed the top of Africa with my partner last month - and a team of 10 amazing guides and porters, but there will be a whole post on this.
